Pop-up tents

The optimum tent type for weekend trips and short camping tours. Quick-pitch or pop-up tents are ideal for campers who regularly camp outside in nature or who switch their camping spot a lot. They are setup extremely quickly and simply just by being thrown out. That's why they're also known as throw or instant tents , because the tent unfolds automatically after the transport clip is removed by the tensioning force of the sewn in flexible rods and is immediately ready to use. Folding it away when taking it down takes a bit of practice, but once you've got the hang of it it goes very quickly. As pop-up tents can have a large pack size of more than half a metre in diameter due to their structure, they are less well-suited to backpackers, trekkers and bikers.
